London calling!

My Mom is going to London next month for some exciting events related to the Graphic Details exhibition currently on display there. The first is a guided tour of the exhibit and then a symposium the following day at Jewish Community Center.

Here is the exact information:

Tour of Graphic Details
Guided by Sarah Lightman and Dr Heike Bauer
November 11th, 18.00 – 19.30
SpaceStationSixty Gallery
Building One, 373 Kennington Road, London SE11 4PS

This event is free and open to the general public. But there is also a Facebook event page.

Graphic Details: Communities of Experience
Symposium including Dr David Brauner (University of Reading), Dr Ariela Freedman (Concordia University), Ariel Kahn (University of Roehampton), Dr Pnina Rosenberg (Israel) and Graphic Details artist Corinne Pearlman (Playing the Jewish Card).
November 12th, 10.00
341-351 Finchley Road, London NW3 6ET

According to the SpaceStationSixty site this event is free and open to the general public, but then there is a button for booking tickets? Maybe just show up and see what happens.

For both events my Mom will be joined by some of the other artists from the exhibition: Diane Noomin, Corinne Pearlman, Ariel Schrag and Ilana Zeffren.

Of much less importance, I will be in attendance as well seeing as how I don’t make it to London very often, and it is so close to Berlin etc. Yeah, basically it’s always great to hang out with the folks in a town that is not the home town.
